The Glide of a fly is a highly sought after action but rarely accomplished. Recently Charlie Bisharat has changed all of that with his live wire fly. We have taken the guesswork out to help every tyer bring that fly from the vise to a fly you can't leave home without!
The NMF Glider blanks are laser cut from ultra high density EVA foam. The weight, hook and shank slots as well as spine slots are laser cut ensuring glide replication time after time. 
The XL 12MM version has pre-cut slots that hold various rattle sizes and types of weights. 
Pre-tie your hook harness, weights and spine shanks to allow for easy setting in the foam.
For a longer glide keep the joint tight as possible while still being able to swing freely. For a more jack knife or choppy glide, widen the joint, soften and shorten the tailing material. 
Apply super glue to each half, set your tail and pinch.
All colors are interchangeable with their respective sizes for the ultimate mix and match the hatch!
Each pack has the foam parts for 2 gliders.
 
RECOMMENDED HARDWARE is the following for each thickness of foam...
XL12MM --6/0 PR320 50mm shank, 4 large tungsten scud bodies or 5 grams and 2 15MM shanks for the spine.
LARGE-- 6/0 PR320, 50mm shank, 2 large tungsten scud bodies or 2.5 grams  2 15MM shanks for the spine. 
Medium size -- 4/0 PR320 40mm shank 2 medium tungsten scuds or 1.3 grams and 2 10mm shanks for the spine.
SMALL--1/0 PR320 30mm shank, 2 medium tungsten scuds or 1.3 grams and 2 10mm shanks for the spine.
 
The recommended saltwater hooks are SA 292 in 4/0 for the XL and Large, SA292 2/0 for the medium, and SA280 2/0 minnow.
Tail Sizes are as follows:
XL double tail for XL 12mm and Large
Medium double tail for the medium 
Small double tail for the small
